Making cheese is one of Vermont’s oldest traditions, dating back to 1824. In recent decades, a new generation of artisan and farmstead Vermont cheese farmers has transformed Vermont into one of the world’s most beloved sources of fine cheese.
Besides offering the best of Vermont cheeses, Green Top Market also carries fine cheese from Wisconsin, California, France, Italy and Spain. Ask us for a taste.

Our bread comes from three local bakeries; they provide a variety of delicious baguettes, Paninis, and whole loaves from wood fired ovens, fresh everyday.

We also carry local Vermont organic jams, crackers, biscuits as well as gourmet products from around the world along with daily necessities.

Our produce counter stocks local (when in season), organic fruits and vegetables all year at prices the same or better than you would pay at farmers markets.

Our beer cases are stocked with one of the biggest selections of local and domestic craft beer as well as imported and National brands – And yes, it’s still the coldest beer in town.
